Every bouquet is meticulously prepared with a water-wrapping to maintain its freshness.
Key steps for caring for your Peonies:
1. Clean your vase thoroughly and remove any leaves that will fall below the water line. This will reduce the buildup of bacteria and keep your peonies fresher for longer.
2. Trim stems at a 45-degree angle. Then, fill the vase two-thirds with fresh, lukewarm water and flower food.
4. Change the water regularly to keep it clean and encourage further water absorption. Repeat more frequently during the warmer months.
5. Keep your peonies away from direct sunlight, draughts, heat and fresh fruit to extend their lifespan.
7. Remove any wilted flowers promptly to prevent bacteria from spreading.
Note: Peonies can take a couple of days to fully bloom. To encourage them you can hold the flower stems under warm water to wash away an accumulating sap, gently rub the flower bud to loosen the petals and re-trimming the stems.
