History

Wildpoppies has been an online florist since 1998. We have developed our floral gift range over this time, taking advantage of the latest developments on the web. Prior to 1998 Wildpoppies had 5 retail stores throughout the central Auckland area, Newmarket and the Airport. We have over sixteen years experience in total as a business selling flowers and gifts.

Wildpoppies have always been at the cutting edge of floral design and we are one of the first florists to introduce a modern, fresh style. We have never used the traditional posy bowl style of Carnations, Gypsophila and Chrysanthemums. Wildpoppies was the first shop to design flowers in a gift bag as well as many other new looks.

At Wildpoppies our purpose is to make gift giving an enjoyable experience for both you and the person receiving the gift. Our passion is creating innovative and stunning gift ideas that are an absolute delight to receive.

Great care and attention to detail is given when preparing our flowers and gifts, we understand that each delivery we make is unique and special to the person who ordered and gift as well as the person receiving it. We take great delight in our work and collectively sharing the same core values; joy kindness, integrity and happiness.

We own our own building at 3 College Hill situated over 3 levels it covers over 650sqm. Our location is perfect for deliveries throughout Central Auckland our proximity to Queen Street is a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk.

A high percentage of our business is from our long standing customers online as well as Corporate Clients, such as Bayleys Real Estate, Giltrap Prestige, Telecom, Westin Hotel, Sky City Grand Hotel.

Our Staff

We have a dedicated team of florists some have worked for Wildpoppies since 1998. Our florists who create your orders all have extensive industry experience and are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, processing your order as fast and efficiently as possible. We understand the importance of having someone to talk to who understands your needs as either a phone or online customer.

Our commitment 10 years ago was to build a fantastic range of gifts from a customer focused web site and one centrally located retail store. Our sole mission is to be recognized by you as an exclusive international brand for sending flowers and providing beautiful gifts. We value our customers and are always looking at ways to reward them through membership programmes such as our Weekly Best Buys, where by you can receive a free gift with every purchase.
